Field Trip

Available

While the ham sandwich is not specifically southern,
I can't imagine a crowd gathering event in the south
without
either
the
fancy party version:
(build-your-own-ham-sandwich-on-a-roll)
or
the all time classic version:
(sack lunch-church camp-tailgate-fishin'-sandwich on the go)

Here's the classic
just in time for all your Memorial Day Weekend gatherings!

Terrific blog, yummy painting. I'll bet this is really wonderful in its large size. Did you use a pencil or charcoal to sketch in the paining?

How long does it take for your paint to dry? It looks like they could get smooshed very easily if you tried to move them to soon.

Hey Guenevere! It dries faster than you would think. I do have to be very careful though, especially cause I try to ship as soon as possible to my gallery. Probably several weeks of drying before can ship, but it's still very risky. I build a box in a box to prevent packing materials touching the sides or top of painting. Big blobs are semi dry to the touch, but could still smash, probably takes up to a year to completely dry out. Thanks for asking!
