Scottie

Over Thanksgiving, my husband and I lost a huge piece of our hearts.  We were out of town for the holiday and our cat sitter caring for our two cats, gave the wrong cat insulin injections.  We are thankful that D-con, who needed the shots, survived, but we are terribly heartbroken over losing Scottie.

He never asked for anything - never meowing for food or treats.  All he seemed to want was to be near us.  He was constantly by our sides and in our hearts, and we miss him.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Pets are so dear and they become such a joyous part of our lives. Scottie sounded like a special cat and his photo shows his beauty. Hold on to the good memories you have.

Oh Karen, I'm so sorry. Sounds like Scottie was the perfect kitty. And so beautiful too. I don't know what to say... I hate that you lost him. I'm sending you a loving hug.

What a little cutie. Sometimes life sucks, doesn't it?
I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all be a bad dream. ;(

Oh Karen, how awful. We just walked this road after losing our special boy Wendell in October at 14.
I am still not over it and think of him everyday. A hug to you both. We know how you feel :(

Thank you all so much, it helps just knowing you care and understand the bond and love that happens when we open our hearts and let these special guys in.

Thank you!

Oh Karen, so sorry to hear about your loss. I grew up with a menagerie of cats, and remember each and every one so well. Cats are quiet and subtle, but really weave their way into your heart - and always stay there.

Karen, just checking in to say take your time with this. I am just starting to feel 'normal' without my Wendell and I have my two little girls to make me smile.
Hugs to you...{{{Karen}}}

God love you Karen, I've been out of pocket for almost a year now, but was going through by fav artists on my blog and read your story. I know time heals but it sure is slow. My precious dog was run over right in front of me one morning and I nearly died with him. It took awhile, but i got another dog and every day I walk my Bichon over the street where Bear was hit and I think of him. I'll never forget the joy he brought to us and that in itself helps the pain. Hope your hurt is easing.
