Two easels going - this is a first for me! Lately my head is bursting with ideas for new paintings and compositions. Suddenly I can't keep up with the inspiration I seem to find everywhere.I've posted a good bit more on my inspiration behind these paintings HERE for anyone interested. I would love to hear how you get inspired, and what inspires you all out there.

there you are!! i was wondering where you've been of late.....LOVING what i see on your easels! i always have more than one painting going. i have ADD and get very antsy some times and need to jump around. plus i feel better knowing i always have something to work on in case i am waiting on a layer to dry. can't wait to see some finished paintings!

Oh, that 18x18 is going to be stunning! And the little "cocktail" one with the red curly cue going up is super! I'm very excited about what you are doing here.
I checked out your other blog and saw the picture of your garden. WOW! Tell me, after seeing this show stopping display of blossoms, are you still charmed by a Dandelion? (I bet you still are).
Aaahhh (can you hear my heart sighing?) the lion hearted dandelion, you know me too well Silvina! If only I had taken a picture of their magnificent display at the lake front a week ago!!
My garden is gorgeous, but it's hard to beat the unexpected beauty of the overlooked Dandelion.
PS. my other favorite is clover, the pink flowering one. When I lived in Atlanta, instead of killing the clover in the yard, I dug it all up and transplanted all together to line my driveway. I'm sure this attraction to what most people want to get rid of, is a serious personality defect! :)

I'm curious as to why you would abandon one blog and start another.

As for the blog question, I really have no intention of abandoning this blog for my new one. I plan to keep both.
It all started because I was having trouble loading certain size images into the blogger system, and once loaded, there were color discrepancies from original jpeg to what loaded into blogger. Also, I've been having subscription issues, where after I upload a new post, some of my subscribers are getting posts sent to them that are over a year old.
While these issues were going on, I decided to attempt redesigning my old website with a new iweb software. I discovered how easy and flexible the iweb software is to use, meaning, I could place pics and text anywhere and any size. I could also easily load custom zooms shots right on the new blog's page. I can also easily load video, music, and all my iphoto systems worked seamlessly.
I really like having a blog directly on my website too, one stop address to give to people. For gallery purposes, I'd rather have my website the first stop, in order to see my paintings all together without scrolling through process shots, but the blog is there incase they want to see want I'm currently working on, without navigating away from my site.
I'm still trying to figure out the whole thing though, and need to decide exactly what each blog's purpose will be. Thank you for the question, it has given me some things to think about.
Wow! You have been busy and creative. All great results so far too. I have weeks like this sometimes. Wish it could be more often.

thanks for the detailed answer to Marian's question. I've had the same issue with blogger, and posting photos and text where I want. (am slowly learning, but it seems cumbersome).

Liz thank you that is so sweet! I hate to hear you have been having issues with the blogger system too. You are right about my easel, it is big, a bit too big for my current studio!
